History is boring? We at the Singapore History Consultants have breathed and lived history all our waking hours (and sleeping hours sometimes!) since 1995 and our love for it is still as fervent as when we first began!

1. All the logistical arrangements will be made for the teachers.
   Yes! The buses, the venues, the guides - we are a one-stop shop for you to get everything you need done with minimal fuss! Just tell us the number of the students and select a suitable date, and leave the rest to us.
   
   
2. Professionally produced worksheets/workbooks for the students.
   Our workbooks and worksheets are written in an informative and engaging way. The questions also help the students to focus on what is told to them and remember key facts.
   
   
3. Evaluation forms will be given to both teachers and students.
   We take feedback very seriously and constantly strive to improve the quality of our tours. The evaluation forms, given to both teachers and students, help us to monitor if our aims are met successfully. A report and analysis will be generated for the school so that teachers are not burdened with the extra work.
   
   
4. ALL our facilitators are trained and must pass their evaluation before taking students out.
   Our facilitators are not just trained to conduct tours. They are required to go through a comprehensive training program that includes a lecture giving them an in-depth knowledge of the history of the areas they will be visiting, as well as reading notes from relevant books and other sources. They must also pass a stringent assessment before they are allowed to conduct tours for students.
   
   
5. We are not JUST a tour agency but a HISTORY consultancy.
   This means that each tour is painstakingly researched and all facts are verified by our professional history researchers. We combine secondary documents and primary research material to design an exciting, and thought-provoking programme for your students.
   
   
6. We review and update our programmes regularly to ensure relevancy to the school syllabus.
   Our educational programmes are catered specifically to help teachers in conveying the school syllabus. Our strong emphasis on syllabus relevancy, especially for history and national education, combined with a creative and engaging presentation, enable students to understand and remember core ideas effectively.

   We are flexible and try our best to customise our programmes for your needs. Teachers often discuss their requirements with us, especially for cross-disciplinary projects, and we will propose a customised programme structure. We have undertaken cross-disciplinary projects such as History-Geography or History-GP modules with great success.
